Your Step-by-Step Korean Learning Roadmap
Welcome to Korean Stepwise!
If you are a complete beginner, looking at all the different Korean resources online can feel overwhelming. Should I learn grammar first? Should I memorize vocabulary? How do I even read these letters?
Don’t worry. I have created a simple, step-by-step roadmap for you. Just follow the steps below, and you will be reading and speaking basic Korean before you know it.
Step 1: Master the Korean Alphabet (Hangul)
You cannot build a house without a strong foundation. Please don’t rely on English letters (Romaja, like annyeonghaseyo) to learn Koreanβit will ruin your pronunciation later. The Korean alphabet, Hangul, is incredibly logical and surprisingly easy to learn.

Step 2: Fix Your Pronunciation Early
Once you can read Hangul, you need to know how it actually sounds in real life. Korean has some unique sounds, and sometimes words sound a bit different from how they are spelled.
